Taylor Lautner's expanding his pack—and it's a girl!
The Twilight alum and his wife Tay revealed the sex of their baby on June 7 via Instagram video. Taylor and Tay huddled around a laptop and clicked through to find their baby's gender. When "GIRL" appeared on screen in pink letters, the couple screamed in unison.
Tay was overcome with emotion, sobbing into her hands before Taylor wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead. The caption read: "Our little secret is now yours."
The couple announced they were expecting in March, with Taylor posting photos of himself and Tay holding a sonogram. He captioned the post, "What's better than two Taylor Lautners? Well, that would be three." (Tay's full name is Taylor Dome—they share the same first name.)
In a June 4 interview with E! News, Tay praised her husband's support during her pregnancy. "He's been my saving grace," she said. "He has been so helpful, running around, doing all of the things, picking up random food, filling up my water with ice 27 times a day."
She added, "It's really awesome. It's really cool to walk through this with your partner."
Taylor has matched her enthusiasm. "I always say I married him because I knew he was going to be a great dad," Tay said of the 34-year-old actor. "Getting to watch him with kids is special. He is so kind and caring. I think he's gonna thrive."
The couple married in 2022, after meeting through Taylor's sister Makena, who introduced them and said they'd be perfect together.
