Taylor Swift has released a country track for the upcoming Toy Story 5 film, giving fans a return to her musical roots.

The pop icon's new song is "I Knew It, I Knew You," written with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff. The track features harmonica and twang throughout. According to E! Online, the song dropped June 5 on YouTube.

"And I remembered I loved you / Came back when it mattered, I saw you," Taylor sings in the chorus. "Standing there in the light of the window wearing that same smile / Man, it's been a while / But I knew it, I knew you."

YouTube commenters drew comparisons to unreleased material from her 2006 Debut era, with some viewing the song as a lost track from her country days.

After collaborating with different producers on The Life of a Showgirl, the 36-year-old reunited with Jack Antonoff specifically for this track. On Instagram, Taylor wrote that she and Jack wrote the song "with so much adoration" for the Toy Story characters that defined their childhoods.

"Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time," she posted on June 5, along with a throwback photo of herself as a child in a cowgirl outfit.

Toy Story 5 hits theaters June 19.
