Barry Levinson has signed with United Talent Agency (UTA) for representation across all areas, according to Deadline Hollywood.

Levinson has six Oscar nominations and an Academy Award for Best Picture for Rain Man, along with Emmy, Directors Guild, and Writers Guild awards. His filmography includes Good Morning, Vietnam, Bugsy, The Natural, Avalon, and Diner. Most recently, he directed and produced The Alto Knights last year, which starred Robert DeNiro.

UTA's addition of Levinson reflects the agency's efforts to represent top-tier talent. The signing positions the filmmaker to take on prestige dramas, high-profile biopics, and ensemble pieces.

At this stage of his career, Levinson can be selective about which projects to pursue. With decades of critical and commercial success, his attachment to a project typically brings credibility and Oscar-season attention.

The move suggests Levinson continues to develop new work. In the current Hollywood landscape, that could include streaming prestige projects or theatrical releases.
