Vienna-based sales agency Square Eyes has acquired international sales rights for Belgian director Isabelle Tollenaere's displacement drama Paris Paris, according to Deadline.

The film will premiere in the Proxima sidebar at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival this July.

Paris Paris follows three men from vastly different worlds: one from China, one from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and one from Palestine—all living together in a squatted apartment. The film explores displacement, survival, and the bonds that form when circumstances force strangers into the same cramped space.

Tollenaere's approach has caught attention in the festival world. The Proxima section champions bold, challenging cinema, and this project fits that category.

Square Eyes' acquisition signals confidence in the film's commercial and critical potential. The Vienna agency has built a reputation for backing distinctive international projects that appeal to both festival juries and global audiences.

With the Karlovy Vary debut confirmed and a sales agency behind it, Paris Paris is likely to secure additional festival dates and distribution deals across territories in the coming months.
