BTS added another milestone to their YouTube record. On May 25 at approximately 8:06 a.m. KST, the septet's music video for "Heartbeat" surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.
"Heartbeat" is not a typical BTS release. The track dropped on June 28, 2019, as part of the soundtrack for their interactive mobile game BTS WORLD. A side project from a side project managed to reach nine figures in views.
The milestone reflects the devotion of BTS's ARMY fanbase. Whether it's a full album track or a game soundtrack, the fanbase consistently drives content to massive view counts.
The 100-million-view mark adds to BTS's cultural reach since their 2013 debut. Each member—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—has built a following that rivals major entertainment figures, and their catalogue continues to accumulate high streaming numbers across platforms.
With "Heartbeat" now at 100 million views, it joins a growing list of BTS tracks that have reached the benchmark.
