Tranquilo Quieto is officially back in business—and Buscabulla just claimed the opening slot for the cult live series' return after nearly two years away.

The Puerto Rican live music initiative, which films artists performing in unexpected island locations, released a new episode today with the alt-pop duo's three-song set. The performance features Raquel Berríos and Luis Alfredo "Luifre" Del Valle playing "Miraverahí," "Tártaro" (which includes the Frankie Ruiz classic "La Cura" and their Bad Bunny collab "Andrea"), and "De Lejito"—with their daughter Charly.

"I felt like I wanted to do something more raw, more informal," Berríos told Rolling Stone. "I wanted to do something with ambient sound... we wanted to do something 'wrong'."

Tranquilo Quieto never films in the same place twice. Created in 2017 by producer David B and musician Josuée "Messy" Deprat, the series gained momentum during the pandemic when director Edgar "Edgo" Cruz joined and adapted it for digital. Past episodes have featured Jazz Bandana freestyling while an Olympic skateboarder performs tricks in Quebradillas, and Latin Grammy winner paopao singing under the derelict Arecibo Observatory.

Buscabulla had pursued a Tranquilo Quieto appearance for years. The timing aligns with this month's Se Bailaba Así remix EP, which reworks tracks from their 2025 album Se Amaba Así.

"We had to explore how we were going to readjust to the reality of the time," David B said about the hiatus. The series is now moving forward with more of the island's artists.
