Netflix has unveiled the first poster and teaser for the upcoming psychological thriller drama "Notes from the Last Row", according to Soompi.
Choi Min Sik plays Heo Mun Oh, a washed-up writer-turned-Korean literature professor who has not published anything in 20 years. When he discovers a student with exceptional writing talent, his attention becomes fixed on the work. Choi Hyun Wook's character has written mysterious prose that captivates Min Sik's character, setting off a dangerous psychological game.
The teaser shows Min Sik's character moving from burned-out professor to someone consumed by Hyun Wook's writing. The tension is visible throughout. The poster aesthetic emphasizes dark academia with a sinister undertone, suggesting this is not a typical professor-student story but a full psychological thriller where talent becomes currency and secrets hide between sentences.
The casting pairs Choi Min Sik's experience with what appears to be Choi Hyun Wook's commanding screen presence.
"Notes from the Last Row" will arrive on Netflix soon.
