Curry Barker isn't slowing down. Hot off the success of his current film Obsession, the director is already locking in his next project—a horror-thriller with serious genre credentials.
According to Deadline, Barker's upcoming film Anything But Ghosts has added Chris Reinacher to its cast. Reinacher is known for Superstore and The Mindy Project.
The project is a collaboration between Blumhouse, Atomic Monster (Jason Blum's production company), and Focus Features, with additional support from Spooky Pictures and Divide/Conquer.
Obsession, Barker's film currently in cinemas, has become Focus Features' highest-grossing movie, proving audiences are ready for his next psychological thriller.
Reinacher's addition to the cast suggests Barker is building a film with real star power. His television success on two comedies could translate to dramatic work in the supernatural space.
