Deepak Tijori isn't buying the rumour mill. The actor has publicly backed his longtime friend and Aashiqui co-star Rahul Roy, shutting down recent speculation about the actor's health and well-being circulating on social media.

Rahul has been in the spotlight after several viral videos sparked mixed reactions online. Some fans expressed concern about his physical condition and speech, while others questioned the content outright—all fuelled by his brain stroke in 2020.

Deepak isn't engaging with the gossip. Speaking to IANS, he was direct: "I am in regular touch with Roy. Roy is still my brother, my friend, and he is perfectly safe; he is perfectly fine. It's just people making news for no reason. There is no such thing that has been written about him."

Rahul himself has already addressed the rumours. In a clarification shared on social media, he rejected claims that he'd been abandoned or facing severe personal difficulties. The actor revealed he lives with his sister and brother-in-law on Madh Island and receives their full support.

Rahul also explained his choice to travel by auto-rickshaw and skip private security—it's personal preference, not financial hardship. He's dealing with ongoing legal expenses from court cases predating his stroke, but remains committed to working and staying professionally active.

Instead of engaging with online critics, Rahul's encouraging them to help him find meaningful work opportunities.

With Deepak backing him up and Rahul setting the record straight himself, the rumour cycle appears to be ending.
