Paramount+ has acquired Wild Cherry, a BBC production from Nicôle Lecky, featuring Eve Best from House of the Dragon and Carmen Ejogo from The Penguin.
Wild Cherry follows a group of wealthy people whose privileged lives are disrupted when a character named Lorna enters their world.
Eve Best, known for her role in HBO's Game of Thrones prequel, leads the ensemble cast. Carmen Ejogo, who plays Oswald Cobblepot's mother in Matt Reeves' The Penguin, also stars in the limited series.
Nicôle Lecky created the dark drama. Her previous work has established her as a significant voice in British television drama.
Paramount+ has secured exclusive streaming rights to the series in the UK market.
No release date has been announced.
