After months of radio silence, producer Firoz Nadiadwala has confirmed what Bollywood's been waiting for: Hera Pheri 3 is happening 'very soon'.
Speaking to ANI, the producer confirmed the third instalment of the comedy franchise is in development, ending months of uncertainty that began when Paresh Rawal stepped back from the project. The veteran actor has since returned, and Nadiadwala is now moving forward with the film.
Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal are set to reprise their roles as Raju, Shyam, and Baburao. The original films drew audiences for the chemistry between the three leads.
The delay reflects the busy schedules of all three stars. They recently appeared together in Welcome To The Jungle, Nadiadwala's ensemble comedy featuring 32 actors including Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani.
Nadiadwala did not reveal a specific shooting timeline. When asked about his production approach, he said: "We can guarantee effort, not result." He told ANI that promotion for Welcome To The Jungle continued until the final moment. "Koshis chalu rehni chahiye (you should continue to try)," he said.
Hera Pheri 3 is among the most anticipated comedy sequels in development. With Nadiadwala's confirmation, the project has moved into active development.
