Mark your calendars: the Knicks and Spurs are doing this all over again. The last time these two teams met in the NBA Finals was 1999—before Victor Wembanyama was even born—and New York is hungry for redemption after losing that series 4-1 to the Tim Duncan-led Spurs.
This time around, San Antonio earned home-court advantage with the better regular season record. Games 1, 2, 5, and 7 take place at Frost Bank Center, while Madison Square Garden hosts Games 3, 4, and the potential Game 6.
But here's the problem: tickets are expensive. According to Rolling Stone's ticket guide, Game 1 seats start at $890 on Ticketmaster and reach over $3,750. Courtside seats at the Garden for the Knicks' first home game on June 8 cost north of $77,000.
The Spurs have limited initial ticket sales to customers within a 150-mile radius of their arena, with residency verified by credit-card billing address. Resale sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats, and Gametime already have listings, though many are likely speculative.
Resale prices are high. StubHub has Knicks home-game tickets starting around $4,000 for upper-level seats, while SeatGeek lists the June 8 game from $4,331. Even San Antonio road games on resale sites are pushing $2,000 for decent views.
If you can't get tickets, the entire series airs on ABC, available through an over-the-air antenna or a live-TV service like DirecTV or Sling.
The Finals run June 3–19.
