Lauren LaVera and Rory Culkin are teaming up for a new thriller that has entered production in Birmingham, Alabama.

LaVera, best known for surviving Art the Clown in the Terrifier franchise, stars opposite Culkin (Waco) in Red Wedding, an upcoming horror-thriller from Gulfstream Pictures.

Director Josh Stolberg and writers Pete Goldfinger crafted the film. The duo wrote multiple entries in the Saw franchise.

Plot details remain under wraps, but the official logline describes a dark story centred on a teenager and her stepmother.

LaVera delivered performances in Terrifier 2 and 3 opposite one of horror's most iconic villains. Culkin has shown dramatic range in prestige projects like Waco.

Production is underway in Birmingham.
