Liane Moriarty is about to give fans exactly what they've been waiting for. Big Little Truth—dropping August 25—is the acclaimed author's first-ever sequel, bringing back Madeline, Celeste, Jane, Renata, and Bonnie.

But a decade has passed, and the drama has only gotten messier. Instead of kindergarten chaos, these women are now navigating their kids' teen years.

"When a stranger begins lurking around the school asking supposedly innocent questions," the synopsis reveals, "this tightly connected group of women must finally face the full repercussions of the big little truths they have and haven't shared with their kids."

Someone's got secrets, and they're about to blow.

Season three of Big Little Lies is officially in development, and Big Little Truth will serve as the source material for the HBO drama's return.

Moriarty isn't the only one heating up summer reading. Romance fans should check out The Summer Girlfriend by Kristina Forrest (June 9), which follows Noelle as she poses as the fake girlfriend of Jeremiah for a New Jersey beach weekend with his family. She's a professional bridesmaid-for-hire desperate to cover college tuition.

For thriller readers, Jessica Knoll and Riley Sager are both releasing page-turners with major plot twists.

Summer reading is officially booked. Your TBR pile just got a serious upgrade.
