Summer is officially heating up. On May 28, Peacock revealed the cast of Love Island USA season 8, introducing 12 new Islanders to the Fiji villa.
The cast includes KC Chandler, a nursing assistant from Fresno, Calif.; Melanie Moreno, a bikini sales associate from Los Angeles; Sean Reifel, a Pennsylvania police officer; and Kenzie Annis from Georgia, a nursing school grad who wants to settle down and have 10 kids.
British contestant Zach Georgiou is also joining—his brother Charlie was on Love Island last year. "My brother Charlie was on Love Island last year," Zach said in the first look. "And now I'm here to see if I can do better." The two are competing for the title.
The remaining cast members are Beatriz Hatz, an amputee from San Diego; Bryce Dettloff, a handyman from Southern California; and Gabriel Vasconcelos, a Brazilian contestant. Several other Islanders have not yet been publicly named.
Ariana Madix returns as host. She will be joined by Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa as Aftersun cohosts, replacing Maura Higgins.
The premiere airs June 2. Season 7 had a poor track record: winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales broke up less than a month after the finale. Amaya wrote on Instagram Stories: "Our visions didn't align and relationships are suppose to be a team sport." Huda Mustafa also split from Too Hot To Handle's Louis Russell in May after nearly nine months of dating. Only runners-up Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe have remained together since the villa, now nearly a year later.
Will season 8 fare better? The answer comes June 2.
