Olivia Rodrigo just pulled off the ultimate festival moment. The pop sensation reunited with The Cure's Robert Smith at Barcelona's Primavera Sound on Saturday, where she performed an unscheduled set a day after the legendary band's headlining slot.
Rodrigo wasn't even on the festival lineup. She announced the surprise performance on social media Saturday morning, and fans showed up ready to lose it.
The 11-song set featured all her biggest hits, but the real moment came when she debuted "What's Wrong With Me" from her album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. This is her first-ever feature collaboration, and Rodrigo was emotional about it.
"This song is special to me for many reasons, but primarily because this is my first song I've ever done a feature with somebody," she told the crowd. "I am just so proud of it and I'm so glad this song exists, I'm just so fucking over the moon."
The identity reveal was the standout. After the first chorus, Rodrigo announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Robert Smith." Smith then delivered the second verse before the two united on the chorus, and the internet collectively screamed.
This wasn't their first time together. Smith previously joined Rodrigo at her Glastonbury headline set in 2025, where they performed "Friday I'm in Love" and "Just Like Heaven." Now that magic has moved into the studio.
The collaboration makes sense. Rodrigo has made her The Cure obsession clear on the new album—she even name-checked "Just Like Heaven" on her first single "Drop Dead" and released a track literally called "The Cure."
Fans are already celebrating this one.
