Shannon Beador's golden retriever Archie has died after a battle with brain cancer at age 10. The dog appeared regularly on The Real Housewives of Orange County during his 10 years on the Bravo series.

Shannon announced the news on Instagram on May 14, posting an emotional tribute. "Heaven has a new special angel," the 62-year-old wrote. "Archie passed away yesterday and the girls and I are heartbroken."

Archie had been her companion for a decade. "For the last 10 years, Archie wasn't just my dog - he was my constant comfort, protector, best friend and truly the real 'man' in my life," she wrote. "I have been through so many highs and lows, and through every good time and every heartache, Archie was always by my side."

Archie won Best Appearance of an Animal at the 2025 Bravo awards show during BravoCon in November. "I am grateful so many fans had the chance to watch Archie grow up," Shannon wrote. "Everyone that got to know him could see his gentle heart and sweet soul."

Shannon said Archie's final day included "doing his favorite things—standing in the ocean, sitting in the park, and eating, a lot of eating." She also noted that Archie had brought another golden retriever, Troy, into their lives last year.

Tamra Judge, a longtime costar, commented on the post: "Sweet Archie is now running free in Heaven with all the tennis balls his heart desires. Thinking of you and the girls."

Archie had been diagnosed with brain cancer after experiencing multiple seizures, which Shannon shared publicly on May 5.
